Mid-Year Conference

The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys 2019 Midyear Conference - Beacons of Light in ART: Navigating the Present, Charting the Future - will be held at Hotel Annapolis in Annapolis, Maryland, September 22-24, 2019.

The 2019 AAAA Midyear Conference includes both an advanced and introductory track offering various educational opportunities covering both fundamental and advanced legal topics, interdisciplinary case management, legislative and case law trends, ethical issues and dilemmas, international law perspectives and medical/scientific developments.  

Annapolis, Maryland is a beautiful and quaint harbor town with wonderful restaurants, entertainment and a rich and varied history.

Conference registration fee is only $695 if registering by August 31 and AAAA is offering a discounted room rate ($189 plus tax) at the Hotel Annapolis for this conference. A reservation link will be provided with your registration confirmation email.

When making travel plans, attendees should fly in to BWI (Baltimore airport) and then Uber to Annapolis.

Walking Tour: Exclusive tour of Annapolis Sunday, Sept.22 at 10:30 am

John Greene, long time AAAA member and now a seasoned colonial tour guide, will lead you through the town in full colonial garb.  History!  Intrigue! Learn about extraordinary events that helped make America!  See where it happened! Hear stories of our colonial forefathers’ huge egos, unruly mobs cramming the streets and other seldom-mentioned historical oddities.  Enjoy beautiful art that brings colonial times to life!

Visit the famous Naval Academy “yard”!  You’ll learn about the school and the unique experiences of its midshipmen. After an immersion in all things Academy, you end your visit at the beautiful Annapolis harbor.  A short walk to the hotel or take the circulator bus back for the opening ceremony of our conference (you do not want to miss this!!).

Sign up for the tour: go to the Watermark website, www.annapolistours.com Go to “purchase tickets”, select “Annapolis, MD” as location, “Walking Tours” as the event.  Then scroll to September 22.  Click on the 10:30 “Four Centuries Walking Tour” to book.  To schedule with our group and John Greene, be sure to enter AAAA where it asks how you learned of Watermark. The tour leaves promptly at 10:30 from the Annapolis Visitor Center (26 West Street, one block from hotel).  The cost for the tour is $22pp and takes roughly 2 hours and 15 minutes.  Space is limited!!!

2019 Midyear Sponsorship Opportunities

The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) offers a variety of sponsorship options at its Midyear and Annual Meetings. The various sponsorship opportunities and their associated benefits may be viewed and purchased online by clicking on your sponsorship choice below.

All sponsorships include breakfast, lunch, breaks and evening events for up to 2 representatives. Additional meal/event tickets may be purchased for $300/individual by selecting the separate ticket option.

Additionally, each sponosor must read and sign off on the AAAA Exhibitor/Sponsor Policy Compliance Statement as part of your application.

Sponsors  are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsorships are non-refundable. Sponsors purchasing extra meal and event tickets must cancel those registrations by September 6 in order to receive a refund.
